OpenAGI is an open-source research and development platform designed to solve multi-step, real-world tasks by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with domain-specific expert models. It employs a dual strategy, combining standard benchmark tasks for evaluation and open-ended tasks that incorporate various models, tools, plugins, or APIs for creative problem-solving. Tasks are presented as natural language queries to the LLM, which then selects and executes appropriate models. Additionally, OpenAGI introduces a Reinforcement Learning from Task Feedback (RLTF) mechanism that uses task results to enhance the LLM's problem-solving capabilities, creating a self-improving AI feedback loop.
